As a Payroll Specialist you are responsible for managing and processing payroll for an organization’s employees. You must ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time by calculating wages, reviewing timekeeping records, and handling deductions, taxes, and benefits. Your duties will include maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process bi-weekly, monthly, or semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, changes in job status, and salary adjustments.
- Calculate and process deductions, taxes, and benefits, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Review and verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries for management and finance teams.
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance with all applicable laws.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in internal and external payroll audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Degree
- PA Criminal Background
- FBI Fingerprints
- PA Child Abuse
